I’ve been taking photographs for a long time now, but it was a trip to Africa in 2011 that first kindled my love of travel photography, in particular wildlife photography. Back then I was using a film Pentax SLR.
I’ve explored different set-ups, used tripods and other equipment, but find for wildlife, I prefer to be mobile and quick, to get the type of Candid Photography I prefer. This doesn’t always afford the best ‘tack sharp’ image, but does let me capture Moments of wild behaviour and memories. So, I travel as lightly as I can and rely on knowing my camera’s capabilities and reacting quickly. Of late, I’ve been fascinated with the flight of birds, which has created quite a portfolio of flight shots.
If you’d like to purchase any prints, they are available in customizeable sizes and can come matted or not. Printed on archival paper, with archival inks. Electronic files will also be available for purchase. Contact me if you’d like to purchase any of my prints. Hopefully I will include a more organized online commercial structure, but it is pretty far down the ‘to do’ list.
